Complaints


Our priority is that you receive the highest level of care during your CST treatment.

All our practising members are accountable to the CSTA for their professional behaviour and are governed by ourĀ Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

If you have any concerns about the treatment you have received from one of our members, please contact our Complaints Officer.

You will then be put in touch with one of our advisors with whom you can discuss your concerns in confidence with the initial aim of resolving the matter through mediation.

If this is not possible and you would like to proceed with a formal complaint, written submissions will be requested from both you and the practitioner for initial review by our Investigating Committee. It has the authority to determine the case itself or, if deemed necessary, to refer it to the Professional Conduct Committee. In cases where physical or mental fitness to practise is at issue, the complaint will be referred to the Health Committee.

HearingsĀ of the PCC are in public unless the committee decides otherwise.

Future hearings

Notices of hearings to be held by the Professional Conduct Committee (PCC) are posted here 28 days in advance. PCC hearings are open to the public unless the Committee decides otherwise.
