Meridians & 5 Element Theory from a Craniosacral Perspective – A CPD Workshop
Our latest CPD workshop took place on 14th March with Beatrice Doubble and Jo Llewellyn, both of whom hold degrees in 5 Element and TCM Acupuncture.

It was a packed and vibrant day full of keen minds wanting to learn from a craniosacral perspective how to diagnose a client’s constitutional element to enhance the relational field, along with explorations of how to connect with the meridians and acupuncture points.
Key learning points included: the concept of qi and how disease can occur when it stagnates; the five elements and how our health relies on them being in harmony; diagnosing and understanding a patient’s element to enable healing; the formation of the meridians during the embryonic stages; the relationship between the elements and meridians, the fascia, organ systems and emotions; and palpation of the meridians to detect imbalances within the system.
Some profound experiences were had, adding another layer to participants’ practice skills. The day ended with a deeply grounding gong bath orienting everyone to the earth element.
