If you are a graduate from one of our accredited colleges, you may register as a full member of CSTA.
As a CSTA-registered craniosacral therapist, your details will be included in our practitioner directory, you will be entitled to use the letters RCST after your name and to vote at our AGM. In addition, you will receive our magazine, The Fulcrum, and benefit from all our publicity material, including free professional CST photographs and videos for your website, and the opportunity to purchase professional publicity leaflets for your clinics.
The CSTA also offers you support and advice. If an issue arises which is likely to affect you professionally and you are unsure of what your next steps should be, advice is a phone-call away. We also make available a comprehensive selection of guidance and support documents.
Insurance is a prerequisite of CSTA registration. Full membership of the CSTA entitles you to take out cover under the CSTA’s competitively-priced block scheme.
As a member, you commit to a process of continuing professional development and are required to undertake regular supervision during your first two years of practice, and are encouraged to continue this practice afterwards. You are also required to hold a current ‘Emergency First Aid at Work’ certification.
Almost everyone involved in the CSTA is a volunteer or near-volunteer, which enables us to keep subscriptions amongst the lowest for a professional body. The annual membership fee is currently £155 (£159 from 1st July 2019) but if you are a new graduate you pay only £100.
